We just do not eat only for our body,

Food satisfies the physical, physiological, sensory needs of the body and also the mind.

The mind needs every feeling of food. In fact, people who are more stressed end up gaining or losing weight because their minds are not satisfied with the food they eat and not just the quantity but also the quality and the effect it has on the mind. Chewing, drinking, licking semi solids, grinding crunchy food, all these activities done by the mouth satisfy the need of the mind and not of the body. What the body needs is the end product that is the essential nutrients which are required for the growth& repair.
The peeling of a sugarcane with teeth to get pulp acts as a healthy workout for the teeth, mouth cavity and our mind. Almonds contain the necessary crunch needed, cucumber refreshes the mind instantly.
What is required is a diet plan that caters not only to the nutritional need but keeps the mind satisfied so that it is followed for a longer duration, makes one happy and healthy.
