Humble water

Water is life,  the ultimate elixir

the medium for all beings to survive

Water is most available, irreplaceable, natural drink for enlivening the prana i.e. energy of life. There is no set daily quantity of how much water one should drink, but a minimum of 4-5 glasses is required but if one feels thirsty more than twice a day means that you are already a bit dehydrated and should increase your water intake.

Water taken on empty stomach calms the body, soothes the mind and detoxifies the internal systems of the body. water should not be taken just before a meal as it dilutes the digestive fire, water taken just after meals slows down digestion might also lead to weight gain and health loss. so the right way would be to take small sips of water throughout the meal to ensure proper hydration& digestion.

In case of any stomach disorders, one may drink water boiled with a bit of cumin seeds, hot water specially boiled for 20 mins taken throughout the day sip by sip is the most wonderful remedy for any health disorder.
