The season of changing nature is here, there are a lot of changes happening in the physiology of the body.

There is a lot of accumulated ‘kapha’ in the body which gets vitiated in spring, this vitiated kapha acts as cause for various allergies and viral infections.

One might suffer from loss of appetite, Nausea and possible vomiting, heaviness in the body, pallor of the skin, cold hands and feet, joint pains, cough with phelgm, excessive sleep, lethargy and lack of concentration.

The seasonal regimen for spring season or vasant ritu if followed not only prevents the above mentioned disorders but also alleviates the root cause of any diseases, , whereas psychological factors like excessive greed and attachment effect not only the mind but also the body.

one should follow a strong exercise routine, deep massage should be done with light and aromatic oils. strong dry sweating or sauna should be taken. Hot and fresh food with pungent, bitter, and astringent tastes. For increasing digestion ginger, black pepper and turmeric should be used. 5-6 black pepper seeds first thing on an empty stomach in the morning is an effective detoxification method.

Cold, oily and heavy foods like yoghurt, cheese, butter, red meat, as well as cucumber, melons to be avoided. Avoid grains in excessive quantities.

One should also avoid cold and damp environments, Regular Pranayama and meditation cleanse the system
