I am frequently asked what is the gold standard of an ayurvedic meal, it is a simple answer of chutney … The gut loves a good chutney to aid digestion, absorption and extraction of food. My personal favourite is my Mint-amla chutney
Sometimes I add raw onion in this and some time I add tomato or a green chilli , it is full of micronutrients and minerals and elevates any meal to a gold standard level
Ingredients-
1/2cup mint fresh from garden
1Amla
1green chilli
1/2inch piece of ginger
2 raw green onions from our garden
Wet grind in a blender
Can be stored in refrigerator for 3-4days
Serve with poha/chila /dal chaawal
